About Me

Hi! My name is Shelly. With a culinary degree in baking and pastry arts, I obviously love baking “people food” for my family and friends, but my favorite recipes to whip up are dog treats for my sidekick Pacey. I created this blog to share those original recipes plus all my baking tips, canine-centric craft projects, and other ideas for pampering your four-legged friends.

Don’t want to make the treats yourself? You can pick up freshly baked See Spot Bake dog treats at the Gettysburg Farmers Market in Gettysburg, PA every Saturday from 7am to 12pm May through September. Or email seespotbake@gmail.com to find out more about placing an order.

  1. I’m looking for some type of chew that would be good for my two Westie’s teeth. I’m too afraid of everything I see on the market and they have pretty fussy tummies. Any ideas?

    • Sally, I totally understand your apprehension about dental chews. While I can’t really claim that any of my treats are going to benefit your dogs’ teeth, you might want to try the recipe that I posted for “Doggie Breath Mints.” The crunchy texture can help scrape teeth clean and the fresh mint should be easy on your dogs’ tummies (and also great for covering doggie breath).
